About

Here are pictures of some of our more recent custom metal work. The top project on this page was fabricated in all aluminum and the second project consisted of exterior aluminum railings and interior iron railings.

In the first project, because of the entry pitch of the driveway the massive aluminum gates needed to be specially engineered and extra attention to every detail. A matching walk-gate was fabricated with the same attention and detail. The hand hammered pointed finials are one-of-a-kind accents which the client worked very closely with Lawler Railing to achieve.

The homeowner of this gorgeous 300' lakefront home wanted an Old World look and feel. He knew the style and look he wanted to achieve and it was a great challenge for Lawler Railing. What you see in the pictures is the outcome of a collaboration many design ideas and hours of custom fabricating. Special tools were fabricated as well to complete this project. The project took over 10 months to complete. Near the end of the project our client proposed another challenge to create a piece to cover and complement the keypad mechanism for the estate gates. This project was featured in NJ Design Magazines August/September 2009 issue "How to incorporate Metalwork into your Design."

This is another beautiful lakefront home completed this past year and was  also designed with the help of the  homeowners concepts. This is also a very special project because it is one of the first known houses in New Jersey to achieve green status. Located in Lake Mohawk, Sparta, the exterior was hand fabricated in our shop starting with hours of design ideas on paper while working closely with the client to achieve the clients goals. The iron interior railing although hard to see in these photos, has an unique bark design to keep with the theme of the home. The balusters are etched to appear as tree limbs. The stain glass frames were made for the two door openings  which open and close for access to the light fixtures behind the stain-glass artwork. These were fabricated with the high quality iron material and have very interesting bark detail as well. The exterior railings at the front of the house and rear were fabricated all in aluminum. The tree like design on the deck was installed on 4 different surfaces including IPE deck, massive rock, concrete and cement. All of which was planned well in advance.
